Events
The mission of the Hoffen Foundation is to give children a ray of hope. The name “Hoffen” is German for “hope”, an action and emotion crucial to overcoming obstacles and challenges in life. It is the desire of the Foundation to carry out fund raising events to benefit charitable groups that may cultivate such hope for children throughout the community.
The Hoffen Foundation enriches the local community in a variety of ways. While we have always made an effort to provide financial support to local charities, we also give back by sponsoring our own events. Below are this year’s events.

Tour de Hoffen
Each year, the Hoffen Foundation has asked friends and supporters to contribute to our "Tour de Hoffen" which runs in conjunction with the Tour De France, the most prestigious bicycle race in the world. The Tour de France is held each July for three weeks. During the French Tour, the Tour de Hoffen sports riders who ride a specified length of their choosing to bring awareness to the Hoffen Foundation and also a specific program designated by the Hoffen Bike Club. Proceeds have benefited Giving Children a Ray of Hope such as our "Little Picasso's Art Program where we bring canvas and art supplies to local children's hospitals and provide a fun afternoon with children and their families learning to paint a picture with the help of a professional artist. To learn more about this program watch at our video at: https://youtu.be/svzaYk8iXcw
Funds raised also fund the Dillon Wolford Scholarship program where Hoffen gives five $1000.00 scholarships to children with prolonged hospital stays in their past and will be attending college. The scholarship is named after a young man who befriended the Hoffen Foundation founder and inspired those around him. He lost his fight for life at the tender age of 23.
Please consider supporting a rider or becoming a rider (earn a new Hoffen bike jersey) and help us help "Give Children a Ray of Hope".
