Programs
The Hoffen Foundation enriches the local community in a variety of ways. While we have always made an effort to provide financial support to local charities, we also give back by sponsoring our own events. Below are some of the events we’ve held to Give Children a Ray of Hope.
Little Picasso Day
We brightened the day for hospitalized children with a fun and imaginative canvas painting program! This initiative provided a wonderful chance for young patients to explore their creativity and participate in an activity they might not otherwise experience. Artist Rebecca Winters with “Art in the Vine” generously donated her time to instruct our little Picasso’s! Kid’s artwork was displayed during the Hoffen Foundation Little Black Dress Party.
Jonathon’s Place Secret Santa Toy Drive
One of Hoffen’s biggest ways in giving children a ray of hope is to help children who have been abused, abandoned or neglected enjoy a special Christmas. Hoffen and the Department of Public Safety sponsored a Christmas event for the children of Jonathon’s Place, complete with presents, food, entertainment and a visit from Santa Claus, who flew in on a police helicopter to deliver the presents. Jonathan’s Place provides a safe, loving home and specialized services to children who have been victims of abuse, abandonment or neglect. It is the mission to give children a ray of hope and provide specialized gifts during the holidays.

Kid's Art Day
Hoffen hosted it's very first Kid's Art Day where hospitalized children at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth enjoyed a fun filled day painting on canvas! This program was also a first Cook Children's. It was a great program that stimulated children’s imaginations and provided hospitalized children, siblings and parents an opportunity to engage in activities they may otherwise not experience. Artist Rebecca Winters with “Art in the Vine” instructed our little Picasso’s and some of the kid’s artwork was displayed at the Hoffen Foundation Little Black Dress Party.
Texas Rangers Baseball Game
The Hoffen Foundation arranged for tickets to be gifted to children suffering from various disabilities and hardships.
In addition to game tickets, our donors’ generosity also provided snacks to those in attendance. Proceeds from Rangers Opening Day tickets sales funded this great opportunity for kids of all ages to enjoy watching the Rangers take on the New York Mets! This program was a fun filled and exciting day for kids who normally don’t get to attend professional sports games and for at least a little while, forget their medical hardships. This year’s tickets were donated to the Cook Children's Neuro Teen support group. Hoffen directors attended the game cheering on the Rangers and rallying up all the fans with Hoffen Rally Candy & Peanuts!
